There's nothing I can do about it. The work is really public property now anyway... Some of the times, some pages are missing, sometimes pages are glued together... And most of the time, I had nothing to do with it...
The albums–whether it were his band’s or his solo efforts–were never a reason to reflect back to, as if they were some metaphorical mirror. They were little pieces of art; fully finished and [in different shapes, forms, and performances] presented [given] to the masses. Every restoration-project, remix-project or rerelease effort were all done beyond the initial idea of #JK; even the BOX’d project did not sprung out of his own thoughts. #JK creates new places, new initiatives, new approaches, new models, but, in the end, does not shy away from giving permission to others to reinterpretate his work.
This BIOGRAPHY IN MOTION; dubbed A RENDEZ-VOUS WITH NARCISSUS showcases most of the official videos, larded with live performance videos. All of them have been restored slightly in order to preserve the original tapes as well as audio mix, but more presentable for these digital times. One other remark, shortly before the launch of the playlist on YouTube, was made by #JK: “No A.I.!”

#JK was never one to shy away from different recording techniques, new approaches to the material, and he always experiments with an array of new and old instruments. Almost every instrument he could lay his hands on, as a matter of fact. He never pinned himself down to one particular genre, but he always sounds like himself. #JK offers an almost unique back catalogue within the realms of music and art in general–most of his albums are perceived as works of art other than ordinary records.
#JK also has an extensive and celebrated visual catalog, having released dozens of challenging and inspiring music videos, live concert films, and visual compilations throughout his defying career. Many of his most defining and groundbreaking videos are now available in this official anthology.
