#2  ⛛ LIKE A FILM  ⛛ ⛛ SENEX IN INSULA And as for loving him, I'll never stop that Sometimes, during someone’s illness–whether physical, mental or both–life seems to slow down a bit. Plans are postponed, conversations enter the realm of tunnel-vision–almost always focusing on health and we’ll-get-through-this -moments… Both parties–both “health” and “unhealth” –try as hard as they can to tippoint the dialogue to a more small talk area, however, the Sword of Damocles is looming and ever present… At times like those, spectators–the ones not dealing with malady–seem to be played out; or, at least set aside for the moment in time. LIKE A FILM sums up those feelings… The film is a metaphorical image of a thing to blame–both affected parties need that… While one is still featuring in this film-of-life, the other is condemned to wander through the backlots of the filmstudio… The props and unused sets remind of an ongoing film, in which both had a part, however, not being an element...

#1  ⛛ ALEX  ⛛ ⛛ SENEX IN INSULA I'd give you all the splendour of a multiple of oceans while you were only searching for rain Entering “the island” in the middle of a conversation; as if you just got on a bus where two people are midway in their exchange, and you can’t make head or tails of it, but it is too exhilarating and interesting to not play a little game of eavesdrops. This is ALEX–the song that opens the second part of the whole. The song [for now] functions as a teaser: the first song of the new album, which can be listened to in full. It’s a song that deals with the exchange between two people–friends–about visions. Visions of how things developed and how one wishes things would have developed… Two extremely different worlds, but in the minds of friends–who’ve been through a thing or two [whether together or in enumeration tale]–something that casually passes the revue of an affable tête-à-tête, which occurs on a bus, in a café or restaurant, in the privacy of a hom...

There's nothing I can do about it. The work is really public property now anyway...  Some of the times, some pages are missing, sometimes pages are glued together... And most of the time, I had nothing to do with it... This was the first, last, and only answer to the request if it were possible [for an outside party] to restore the #JK videos in order to present them biographically. The albums–whether it were his band’s or his solo efforts–were never a reason to reflect back to, as if they were some metaphorical mirror. They were little pieces of art; fully finished and [in different shapes, forms, and performances] presented [given] to the masses. Every restoration-project, remix-project or rerelease effort were all done beyond the initial idea of #JK; even the BOX’d project did not sprung out of his own thoughts. #JK creates new places, new initiatives, new approaches, new models, but, in the end, does not shy away from giving permission to others to reinterpret his work.   The 50th birthday is, apparently, not an ordinary birthday… Or so I’m told… It is a potent milestone of life and is worthy of reflection, celebration, gratitude, and even a bit of humor.  Fifty years of existence are full of their tales, learnings, triumphs, heartaches, joviality, and maturities. Fifty is wisdom gained by experience, strength gained by struggle, self-development through change, and confidence gained by self-awareness. The age is when most of us start to get rid of the tension of external demands and fully enjoy the authenticity.  When you are 50, you do not need approval so much, you just need peace. You give up on the pursuit of perfection and begin to value progress. The age of 50 is also a reminder that it is not something to be afraid of aging but a thing to celebrate.
